Half Redneck/Half Ladies Man,  Woodcut,  22” X 15”     2008

This is a commentary on the identity crisis of Lexington Kentucky, the town in which I live.  We Lexin-tonians live in a city of contradictions.  We are a city of moderate size but with traffic that would drive a New Yorker crazy.  Royalty from all over the world visit and own property here...sometimes next door to trailer parks!  Some of us live our lives down the middle of these extremes, visiting a greasy spoon and a yuppie coffee house...more often than not...in the same day.
